Год назад появилось странное, но подкупающее своей новизной желание – посетить все сохранившиеся и несохранившиеся Кремли в стране. И вот напротив сызранского ставим галочку😊

Крепость и город начали строить в одно время в 1683 году. Сам город должен был стать форпостом для защиты от кочевников. Кремль поставили на высоком берегу реки Сызранки, которая буквально через пару сотен метров впадала в широкую Волгу.

К сожалению, до наших дней сохранилась лишь малая часть крепости. Спасская башня – единственное уцелевшее строение самого укрепление.

Сила Кремля такая, что, даже почти полностью исчезнув, маленькая его часть становится символом города.

На территории кремля также осталась церковь Рождества Христова. Простая, но монументальная церковь XVIII века.
