Художник Анатолий Булдаков (Санкт-Петербург) передал авторскую картину "Смоленск Великокняжеский" в музейный комплекс Катынского мемориала.

Две его картины ранее были размещены на ж/д вокзале Смоленска. Нынешний дар будет открывать экспозицию по истории российско-польских отношений в Катыни. Спасибо всем организаторам - РВИО, ГЦМСИР и, конечно, самому художнику.

У этой, казалось бы, малозначительной в масштабах страны новости, есть личное измерение. А.Булдаков на Стене памяти (созданной РВИО в 2018) нашел фамилию и инициалы деда, о судьбе которого его мать и семья ничего не знали, считая, что он сгинул где-то в Сибири в 30-х. Проверили - да, это он.
Вот так бывает.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
