В письме Госдеп ругает Китай и называет восстановление представительства в Хониаре "стратегическим интересом США". Параллельно планируется создать там отделение Корпуса мира для гуманитарных целей.
Видимо, следующий вотум недоверия пропекинскому соломонскому премьеру Манассии Согаваре не удастся пережить так легко.
