Об этом изданию сообщили три источника. 20 ноября, как пишет газета, Дмитрий Песков сообщил, что Кремль объявит нового посла в США «в обозримой перспективе».
Сейчас Дарчиев возглавляет департамент Северной Америки при МИД РФ, до 2021 года он был послом России в Канаде.
В августе 2022 года дипломат говорил, что поставки дальнобойных систем вооружения в Украину «расширят географические задачи спецоперации». В декабре 2022-го Дарчиев заявил, что американский ВПК в нынешней ситуации «извлекает сверхприбыли», а политический класс «солидарен в том, что война [должна быть] до последнего украинца».

Бывший посол России в США Анатолий Антонов завершил работу в октябре 2024 года. Он возглавлял дипломатическое представительство с августа 2017 года.

The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. And while money initially moved into stocks in the morning, capital moved out of safe-haven assets. The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell Friday, sending its yield up to 2% from a March closing low of 1.73%. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
