Местные радикалы, воодушевленные победами боевиков в Хаме и Хомсе, захватили несколько деревень, отобрали у местных солдат и полицейских вооружение с техникой, включая бронеавтомобили и даже танки, а самих их взяли в плен.

Данный регион всегда являлся проблемным и считался "колыбелью революции", которую удалось вернуть под контроль лишь после тяжелых боев и череду последовательных процессов применения с вывозом наиболее отпетых радикалов. Но очевидно, что в Даръа все еще оставалось множество противников Асада, которые сейчас подняли голову.

Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market. Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp.
