Замахнулись мы в этом году на новый формат просветительской работы — лекторий. Честно скажем — были сомнения, пойдут ли люди в зоопарк слушать других людей.🤔

Две первых лекции показали: пойдут! На встрече про янтарь было больше 100 человек, а вчера послушать про шишки пришли более шестидесяти!

Уже есть планы на февраль. Наши партнёры — научно-просветительский проект Milmax Science, который весьма успешно продвигает научпоп в Казани. Так что, следите за нашими анонсами: мы постараемся, чтобы было интересно, полезно и познавательно!

Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Under the Sebi Act, the regulator has the power to carry out search and seizure of books, registers, documents including electronics and digital devices from any person associated with the securities market. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. During the operations, Sebi officials seized various records and documents, including 34 mobile phones, six laptops, four desktops, four tablets, two hard drive disks and one pen drive from the custody of these persons. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers.
