ЦМРБанк (ООО) организовал и провел ряд лекций по финансовой грамотности среди школьников, студентов и учителей Запорожской и Херсонской областей на тему «Кибермошенничество».
Сотрудники банка подробно рассказали о: 🟡наиболее распространенных схемах обмана, 🟡ключевых признаках мошеннический действий, 🟡ущербе, который наносят киберпреступники обычным гражданам.
Основное внимание было уделено дропперам — участникам финансовых цепочек, которые помогают мошенникам обналичивать деньги или переводить их на другие счета.

Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered. Following this, Sebi, in an order passed in January 2022, established that the administrators of a Telegram channel having a large subscriber base enticed the subscribers to act upon recommendations that were circulated by those administrators on the channel, leading to significant price and volume impact in various scrips. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children.
