Другой участник конкурса, юрист Андрей Еланцев, предполагает, что Маслакова сделала это в интересах действующего мэра Евгения Писцова — чтобы затянуть объявление нового конкурса. Юрист даже выразил готовность бесплатно защищать в этом процессе интересы думы и жителей Березовского.
