Причина тупая до безобразия: «Они являются руководителями российских регионов». Попавшим под санкции губернаторам запретят въезд в Великобританию, а также арестуют активы в стране.
Пока в санкционном списке Дальний Восток «представлен» только главами Якутии и Амурской области. Но, надо полагать, это ещё не конец. Уж больно «уважительная» у бриттов причина.

In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” Friday’s performance was part of a larger shift. For the week, the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell 2%, 2.9%, and 3.5%, respectively. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed.
