В России с 2017 года по поручению Президента Российской Федерации Владимира Путина реализуется федеральный проект по открытию специализированных центров по профилактике детского дорожно-транспортного травматизма.
В рамках реализации этого проекта при поддержке Министерства образования и науки Запорожской области на базе МКО УДО «Центр внешкольного образования» в 2025 году начнет работать мобильный комплекс «Лаборатория безопасности».
