رئیس دانشگاه استدلال می‌کند که به احتمال زیاد مصرف سالاد کاهو باعث سوء هاضمه شده است ، شاهد و دلیل وجود #همبستگی مستقیم میان مرتبه و میزان ظهور علت و مرتبه و میزان ظهور #معلول است. یعنی با افزایش مصرف سالاد کاهو ، درد سوء هاضمه نیز بیشتر و با کاهش آن درد نیز کاهش یافته است.
