Как сообщает Baza, борт Azerbaijan Airlines мог изменить курс из-за угрозы атаки беспилотников на территорию Чечни. По официальным данным, это произошло из-за тумана. Причиной крушения могло стать столкновение с птицей.

СМИ пишут, что на борту находились 62 пассажира и 5 членов экипажа. Министр здравоохранения Казахстана Акмарал Альназарова сообщила о шести выживших.
