ЛМС-901 "Байкал" впервые взлетит на российском двигателе ВК-800СМ в третьем квартале 2024 года, сообщил главный конструктор УЗГА Сергей Вакушин.
К концу 2023 года планируется завершить подготовку к дебютному вылету мотора в составе летающей лаборатории. До конца 2024 ВК-800СМ должен получить сертификат. Запуск серийного производства на 30 двигателей в год намечен на 2025 год.
Легкий многоцелевой самолет готовится сменить бессменный "Кукурузник" Ан-2. ЛМС-901 совершил первый полет в начале 2022 года. С импортным двигателем General Electric H80.

Ранее предполагалось, что авиакомпании смогут выбрать самолет с российской или западной силовой установкой по своему усмотрению. И что коммерческие поставки "Байкала" начнутся до конца 2023 года. Теперь сроки сдвигаются - "Аврора" ждет 10 ЛМС-901 в 2024-2026 гг. Двигатель будет только отечественный.

The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app.
