Памятник одному из основателей города Николаю Комарову планируют установить во Владивостоке. Вопрос создания и установки монумента обсудили на заседании профильного общественного совета в администрации города.

Предлагаемое место установки памятника – сопка Орлиное Гнездо. В ходе дискуссии члены совета согласились с предложенным местом, однако окончательный вариант эскиза решено утвердить после выездного совещания на сопке.

На архитектурном совете также поддержали инициативы по установке памятников русским флотоводцам Федору Ушакову и Павлу Нахимову, а также памятников, посвященных детям войны и Герою социалистического труда, министру рыбного хозяйства СССР Александру Ишкову.
