Симптомы заболевания — озноб, кашель, боль в горле, слабость и головокружение — напоминают проявления COVID-19. В соцсетях жители Китая делятся кадрами переполненных больниц, особенно детских.

Чрезвычайное положение, по слухам, уже введено в ряде регионов, однако официального подтверждения этому нет.
