CRRC представила первый поезд метро для Мексики на шинном ходу

• На площадке производителя в Чжучжоу был выпущен девятивагонный поезд для первой линии метрополитена Мехико. Это первый подвижной состав CRRC, оборудованный колесами с резиновыми шинами. Данное решение должно позволить преодолевать крутые подъемы, а также снизить уровень шума при эксплуатации.

• Поставки выполняются в рамках выигранного в конце 2020 года тендера стоимостью $1,6 млрд. Предложение консорциума с участием CRRC было на 27% ниже, чем у конкурента – другого консорциума с участием испанской CAF. CRRC взяла на себя обязательства локализовать производство подвижного состава в Мексике на 35%.

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war.
