Подвижной состав был показан в рамках посещения завода Stadler в испанском Альбушеке президентом национального перевозчика Renfe Исаиасом Табоасом. Шестиосный электровоз Euro6000 массой 121 т рассчитан на эксплуатацию с максимальной скоростью 160 км/ч на колее шириной 1668 мм. Мощность локомотива составляет 6 МВт, что позволяет ему перевозить состав массой 1800 т при уклоне 1,8%. Он может курсировать как по электрифицированным линиям переменного тока с напряжением 25 кВ, так по линиям постоянного тока с напряжением 1,5 кВ или 3 кВ.
Сейчас компанией проводятся пусконаладочные работы по первой партии из 4 локомотивов. Контракт на поставку 12 таких электровозов за €85,5 млн был заключен в августе 2021 года. Согласно нему, Stadler до конца текущего года должна была поставить 4 машины, но теперь заявляет о намерении поставить еще две с опережением графика. Всю партию локомотивов Renfe должен получить до 2024 года.
