Состоялся шестой тестовый запуск сверхтяжелой ракеты Starship. SpaceX смогли успешно перезапустить двигатель второй ступени в космосе и вернуть её целой в океан.

Первую ступень в этот раз не стали возвращать на стартовую площадку «Мехазилла», а приводнили в вертикальном положении в океан. Для приземления на площадку были осуществлены не все критерии.

За запуском наблюдал Дональд Трамп, а в качестве «полезной нагрузки» в ракете поместили банан.
