За выходные на площадке LC-39A для Starship во Флориде появилось ещё несколько хороших новостей:
- Провели тесты манипуляторов на башне Mechazilla, которые были установлены достаточно давно. Их ещё будут дорабатывать на основе аналогичных улучшений второй башни в Техасе.
- Началась расчистка зоны рядом с площадкой, видимо под систему выделения кислорода, азота и аргона из воздуха (разница между снимками 4 дня). Это одна из наиболее уникальных особенностей для будущего топливохранилища. SpaceX планирует получать часть восполняемых элементов прямо из атмосферы, а не подвозить их отдельно каждый раз между пусками. Аналогичная система планируется и в Техасе, там тоже идёт подготовка площадки для этого.
В целом, подобная активность является ещё одним подтверждением возобновления активных работ по Starship во Флориде.

Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number.
