Ранее, в 2018 году, «М.Видео» приобрела «Эльдорадо» за ₽45,5 млрд, объединив 2 крупнейшие сети ретейлеров бытовой техники и электроники в России. «М.Видео-Эльдорадо» принадлежит группе компаний «Сафмар», контролируемой российским бизнесменом Саидом Гуцериевым, сыном Михаила Гуцериева.
