قال أبو جعفر: يقول تعالى ذكره لنبيه محمد ﷺ: قل يا محمد، لهؤلاء المنافقين الذين وصفتُ لك صفتهم وبينت لك أمرهم: هل تنتظرون بنا إلا إحدى الخَلَّتين اللتين هما أحسن من غيرهما، إما ظفرًا بالعدو وفتحًا لنا بِغَلَبَتِناهم، ففيها الأجر والغنيمة والسلامة = وإما قتلا من عدوِّنا لنا، ففيه الشهادة، والفوز بالجنة، والنجاة من النار. وكلتاهما مما نُحبُّ ولا نكره.

That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government.
