В этом году со дня рождения легендарного летчика, уроженца нашей области, исполнилось 120 лет. В церемонии открытия памятника приняли участие полномочный представитель Президента России в ПФО Игорь Комаров, губернатор Нижегородской области Глеб Никитин, потомки летчика – дочь Ольга Чкалова и внук Игорь Чкалов.
Бронзовый памятник состоит из двух частей: фигуры летчика, готовящегося к полету, и постамента в форме полусферы – крыла, на котором изображена часть карты СССР со схемой трансполярного перелета под командованием Валерия Чкалова в 1937 году.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public.
