🗓🚀 27 ноября 1973 г. на площадке №35 ("Этилен", в/ч 03145) 10-го Государственного Научно-Исследовательского полигона Сары-Шаган проведен первый бросковый пуск противоракеты 5Я26, которая под таким индексом входила в состав системы ПРО С-225 "Азов", а позже стала противоракетой ближнего перехвата 53Т6 системы ПРО А-135 "Амур".

Необычная форма конструкции противоракеты была успешно позаимствована от американской противоракеты Sprint (1960-е годы). Советская реинкарнация "Спринта" пережила свой прототип на несколько десятков лет и в модифицированном виде до сих пор состоит на вооружении в составе системы ПРО А-135М.
