Суд Брестской области, как и районный, посчитал мужчин виновными по ст.363 УК РБ, и приговор оставил без изменений. То есть Бабичу предстоит провести три с половиной года в колонии общего режима, Шабалюку - три года.
Апелляция рассматривалась коллегией судьей в составе Шестак Н.В., Березюк С.А. и председательствующего Григорович Николая Федоровича. Сторона обвинения была представлена прокурором Ярошиком.
