Первые фотографии американского танкового мостоукладчика M60 AVLB, переданного 5-й ОТБр ВСУ, появились еще зимой 2024 (кадры 1-2).

В марте 2023 был анонсирован американский пакет военной помощи, в котором впервые упоминались мостоукладчики, которыми оказались снятые с вооружения M60 AVLB (кадр 3). Точное количество поставленных машин неизвестно, но источники сообщают о нескольких десятках единиц.

Осенью 2024 засветились в ходе вторжения в Курскую область (кадры 4-5). M60 AVLB использовался в ходе атаки 82 ДШБ ВСУ (кадр 6), где и был уничтожен нашими силами.

M60 AVLB был разработан на базе танка M60 и может наводить мосты MLC 60 длиной 18 метров и нагрузкой около 50 тонн.

At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war.
