Сегодня вместе с замминистра обороны России Юнус-Беком Евкуровым открыли мемориальную доску памяти лейтенанта Александра Водопьянова на фасаде Нахабинской гимназии №4. Теперь родная школа бойца носит его имя.

22 мая этого года на островах Херсонской области группа под его командованием столкнулась с противниками. Лейтенант получил ранение, но не отступал. Он эвакуировал своих товарищей на лодке из-под огня. Сойдя на берег, группа укрылась от БПЛА врага в камышах. В место, где находился Саша, противник направил дрон. Он спас товарищей, но погиб сам. Саше было 23 года.

Президент посмертно присвоил ему звание Героя России. Награду Юнус-Бек Баматгиреевич передал семье бойца. Владимир Александрович, Татьяна Викторовна, Лиза, ваш сын, брат настоящий герой, мы все им гордимся.
