По словам Чурина, "до недавнего времени здание и прилегающая территория были запущены":
- Это здание признано объектом культурного наследия... Как жителю города, который я очень люблю, мне больно было смотреть, как разрушается одно из знаковых мест Кирова. Мы планируем вдохнуть новую жизнь в дом Чарушина, восстановить его исторический облик. Для этого мы заказываем проект у организации, которая имеет соответствующую лицензию. А в ближайшее время приступим к благоустройству территории.
Как выяснили кировские журналисты, на покупку дома Чарушина "Сельмаш" потратил 2,6 миллиона рублей.

Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform.
