Сейчас закон позволяет менять имена и фамилии только совершеннолетним. Этим в 2021 году воспользовались 422, в 2022 — 506, а в 2023 — 348 жителей Кировской области.
В 2024 году в Кирове зарегистрировали малышей с такими редкими именами, как Амина, Амилия, Арианна, Ефросиния, Даниэла, Оливия, Сияна, Арон, Леон, Гордей, Эрик, Марсель, Ратмир.
