Настоящей причиной задержания считают желание не дать выступить Владиславу Постникову на мероприятии парламентской партии «Новые люди» в баре «Молодость» в Екатеринбурге. Журналист должен был рассказать, как история, политика и религиозное диссидентство повлияли на локальный патриотизм жителей региона.
