Внимательные блогеры заметили нарушение природоохранного законодательства главой Ленского района Якутии Жумартом Абильмановым: он варил уху из Тайменя, который занесён в Красную книгу. Местные жители также не остались в стороне и стали писать жалобы на главу своего района.
Справедливости ради стоит отметить, что промысел Тайменя существовал в этих местах с незапамятных времён, однако можно привести много примеров очень древних охотничьих или рыболовных промыслов, которые в связи с уменьшением численности их объектов были законодательно запрещены как в России, так и в зарубежных странах. Поэтому приверженность древним традициям никак не может оправдать нарушения закона, тем более лицом, который должен её олицетворять – главой муниципального образования.
Самым благоразумным шагом для Ж. Абильманова было бы признание вины и выплата соответствующего штрафа. Незаконная охота и рыбалка поставила крест на политической карьере не одного чиновника и депутата – достаточно вспомнить горе-охотника В. Рашкина.
