В эти смутные дни новогодних гуляний, Суетливых застолий, мелькании лиц Я себя ощущаю в плену расстояний, Городов и административных границ.
Как хочу я взлететь в это хмурое небо, Где порой из-за туч мне сияла звезда, И умчаться туда, где ни разу я не был! И, быть может, не буду уже никогда...
Никогда… Безнадёжное, тяжкое слово, Как избавиться мне от твоих кандалов? Я пытаюсь порвать эти цепи, но снова Увязаю в сплетении мыслей и слов.
Берега моих снов запорошены пылью, А дороги теряются где-то во мгле. В день, когда раздавали желающим крылья, Я, как видно, отсутствовал здесь, на земле.
И теперь, в эти дни новогоднего бега, Я душою за нерасторопность плачу, И, лицо подставляя летящему снегу, Вновь пытаюсь представить, что в небо лечу…
