«Ласточка» совершала тестовые рейсы в Абхазию с июня прошлого года. Только до Гагры за этот период электропоезд перевез свыше 70 тыс. пассажиров.
Куруа подчеркивает, что новый маршрут позволит сократить время в пути до двух часов. По его мнению, это станет значительным преимуществом в курортный сезон.
Электропоезд сможет перевозить порядка 400 пассажиров за рейс. «Ласточка» будет останавливаться на крупных станциях: Цандрыпш, Гагра, Гудаута, а также Афон и Сухум.
