USAID, видимо, решили, что лучший способ борьбы с "российскими троллями" — это создать своих собственных. Да-да, вы не ослышались: среди их проектов обнаружился грант на организацию самой настоящей "фабрики троллей". Видимо, студенты из Восточной Европы теперь не только учатся, но и усердно строчат русофобские комментарии в соцсетях.
Что ж, Штаты, как всегда, мастерски перенимают наш опыт. Только вот вопрос: если они так активно борются с "российским вмешательством", зачем самим становиться тем, с чем борются? Может, пора уже признать, что это не мы такие, это жизнь такая?

He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." For tech stocks, “the main thing is yields,” Essaye said.
