Корректировать огонь артиллерии можно по сторонам света (ПКСС) и по разрывам (НЗР).

При ПКСС следует мысленно провести линию сторон света, найти куда отклонился разрыв, глазомерно определить отклонение и сообщить данные артиллеристам.

При использовании НЗР наблюдатель сообщает отклонения от своего НП(!). А уже артиллеристы посчитают сами и внесут необходимые правки.
