Love_in_a_F_cked_Up_World_How_to_Build_Relationships,_Hook_Dean.pdf

I've been reading Love in a Fucked Up World by Dean Spade the past couple of days and it's really enlightening on the destructive patterns of releations that we learn to engage in from society and how we can better navigate love & being in community with others. I see a lot of these kinds of patterns emerge often in the trans, furry & therian spaces i interact in and notice the ways it breaks communities apart and make it difficult to build meaningful connections with eachother.
As a demi-romantic person myself, i find the book's focus on romantic relationships less applicable to my personal experience but there's plenty in here that is adaptable to any kind of connection we make to others in our lives. I have especially found chapter 2 on numbness and the ways we restrict our emotional range very impactful and useful to recent difficulties i've had in interpersonal conflicts
