В четверг, 20 февраля, в Ампирном зале нашего музея на Пречистенке откроется выставка «Лев Толстой: образ на холсте». На ней мы покажем целую галерею работ выдающихся художников, запечатлевших Льва Толстого.

Посетители увидят великого писателя за работой, во время прогулки, на концерте. На холстах предстанет Толстой-писатель, философ, мечтатель, мыслитель. При этом в каждом портрете угадывается индивидуальное отношение художника к писателю.

В богатой коллекции нашего музея хранятся живописные полотна Александра Моравова, Владимира Дидерихса, Василия Мешкова, Леонида Пастернака, Павла Трубецкого, Михаила Нестерова, Николая Орлова, Михаила Оболенского, Веры Кузьминой. Многие из них станут экспонатами новой выставки «Лев Толстой: образ на холсте».
