Оленеводы стали большой помощью для армии СССР во время Великой Отечественной войны. Северная кавалерия использовалась там, где не могла пройти техника. Они по труднодоступным дорогам в морозы доставляли на передовую боеприпасы и продовольствие, вывозили раненых.
Подвиг наших предков в годы Великой Отечественной войны навсегда останется в памяти коми народа!
