The ПТСР Team (PTSR Team) is a Russian-speaking community that emerged a few years prior to the onset of the Special Military Operation (СВО). Initially formed on the media platform RSOTM, it comprises former and active military personnel, law enforcement officers, private military contractors, veterans of combat operations, militia members from the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics (LDNR), and civilians interested in military topics.

In May 2022, following the commencement of the SVO, the group expanded its presence by establishing a media component, including a Telegram channel and a VKontakte community. These platforms serve as hubs for sharing content related to military experiences, equipment reviews, and discussions on topics pertinent to their members.

The community has also ventured into publishing, releasing a collection of stories titled "Пехота бессмертна" ("The Infantry is Immortal").

The Operational Combat Tactical Formation “Kaskad” is a unit of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), founded on March 30, 2017.

Since its formation, “Kaskad” has played an active role in maintaining security in Donbas, participating in key military operations with notable acts of bravery. The unit was involved in major battles including those in Mariupol, Pavlivka, and Vuhledar, and took part in resisting Ukrainian counteroffensives.

In 2022, under the command of Colonel General of Police Alexey Alexandrovich Diky, “Kaskad” reportedly captured a record number of enemy combatants during the siege of Mariupol—1,757 Ukrainian troops at the Ilyich Steel Plant and 2,439 at the Azovstal steelworks.
