Для восстановления электроснабжения задействованы 450 специалистов из Смоленской области, а также их коллеги из соседних регионов, включая Московскую, Брянскую, Орловскую, Курскую, Воронежскую, Ярославскую, Кировскую области, Удмуртию и Марий Эл. Энергетики работают круглосуточно, чтобы как можно скорее устранить последствия непогоды и вернуть электричество в дома жителей.
Ситуация осложняется многочисленными обрывами проводов и завалами деревьев. Для ускорения работ к энергетикам присоединились сотрудники местных лесничеств, МЧС и волонтеры, активно помогая в расчистке территории и восстановлении электролиний.
