Astăzi, 23 februarie, este celebrată Ziua Apărătorului Patriei. Aceasta reamintește de eroismul apărătorilor Patriei, de cei care au luptat pentru libertatea și independența Moldovei și a altor țări în diferite perioade ale istoriei. În ciuda faptului că guvernarea actuală nu acordă sărbătorii un statut oficial, cetățenii o sărbătoresc în întreaga țară.

Он напоминает о подвиге защитников Родины, о тех, кто в разные исторические периоды сражался за свободу и независимость Молдовы и других стран. Несмотря на то, что действующая власть не придает празднику официальный статус, граждане отмечают его по всей стране.

An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation.
