Как отмечает Росстат, прирост населения отмечен в 20 регионах: например, в Московской и Ленинградской областях, а также Республике Ингушетия. Росстат пока отчитывается о численности населения без учета ДНР, ЛНР, Запорожской и Херсонской областей.
