Основанием для установления этого поминовения послужило то, что в ближайший воскресный день совершается воспоминание Второго пришествия Христова, и потому накануне этого дня, как бы в день, предшествующий Страшному суду Христову, Святая Церковь молится обо всех от Адама до наших дней усопших в православной вере праотцах, отцах и братиях наших.
Молитва за усопших — это наша главная и неоценимая помощь отшедшим в мир иной. В эту субботу во всех храмах будет отслужена Божественная Литургия, а по её завершении, панихида.
Приглашаю всех вас в этот день посетить ближайший храм и вознести свои молитвы ко Господу за упокоение душ усопших своих родных и близких, а также воинов отдавших жизнь за то, чтобы мы с вами жили и всегда помнили о них.
