Минюст России представил на общественное обсуждение проект поправок в Уголовный кодекс РФ, предусматривающий увеличение размера штрафов за совершение отдельных преступлений экономической направленности.
Один из адвокатов отметил, что законопроект демонстрирует тенденцию усиления финансовой нагрузки на граждан в области судебной и правоохранительной деятельности. Другая приветствовала бы более существенное увеличение экономических штрафов при их 100%-ном применении или исключении наказания в виде лишения свободы из альтернативных санкций ряда «экономических» норм. Третий обратил внимание на применение разного расчета «коэффициента инфляции» законодателем при увеличении штрафов. По мнению четвертой, целесообразно вернуться к существовавшим до 2003 г. условным единицам для исчисления сумм ущерба и штрафов, снова «увязав» их с МРОТ.
