عرف العلامة الشهير أبو بكر ابن العربي المالكي بسلاطة لسانه ووقيعته في الأئمة، وقد جمع شيخنا العلامة أبو عبد الرحمن ابن عقيل الظاهري نماذج كثيرة من سوء قوله في الأئمة، وأنكر تشنيعه على ابن حزم بأن ابن حزم لا يقع في الأئمة، لكن ابن العربي يقع فيهم حتى لم يسلم منه الإمام الشافعي رحمه الله تعالى.
وقد ذكر أبو عبد الله القرطبي المفسر وصف ابن العربي لمن قال بتحريم أسئلة النوازل بأنهم: "اعتقد قوم من الغافلين"! فرد عليه القرطبي بقوله:
"قوله فيه قبح، وإنما كان الأولى به أن يقول: ذهب قوم إلى تحريم أسئلة النوازل. لكنه جرى على عادته"
اللهم اغفر لي ولابن العربي ولجميع المسلمين والمسلمات.

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so.
