الوجه الرابع: (لا يضربن بأرجلهن لِيُعْلَمَ ما يخفين من زينتهن): لما أمر الله سبحانه بإخفاء الزينة، وذكر جل وعلا كيفية الاختمار، وضربه علىٰ الوجه والصدر ونحوهما، نهىٰ سبحانه لكمال الاستتار، ودفع دواعي الافتتان، نساء المؤمنين إذا مشين عن الضرب بالأرجل، حتى لا يُصوَّت ما عليهن من حلي، كخلاخل وغيرها، فتعلم زينتها بذلك، فيكون سببًا للفتنة، وهذا من عمل الشيطان.
