60 лет назад рабочий поселок Анадырь получил статус города. Знаковое событие. И «рабочим» Анадырь именовался не случайно. В советское время Анадырь пять раз завоевывал Переходящее Красное знамя Совета Министров РСФСР и ВЦСПС. Почетная трудовая реликвия вручалась за высокие экономические показатели и выполнение сверхплановых трудовых обязательств.

Сегодня наш город продолжает традиции многих поколений тружеников, которые посвятили свою жизнь Северу. Город живет и развивается, привлекая новых перспективных специалистов, предоставляя условия для самореализации нашей молодежи.

Анадырь играет особую роль в жизни его жителей. Он проверяет людей на прочность, дает возможность каждому найти свое место в жизни, но я думаю, что нужно просто любить этот город, и тогда он ответит взаимностью.
