▫️به همت اندیشکده سیاستگذاری اقتصادی دانشگاه تهران در دانشکده اقتصاد این دانشگاه نشستی درخصوص بررسی چند‌و‌چون «نظارت بر بانک‌ها»، در ۶ خرداد ۱۴۰۳ برگزار شد.
▫️در این نشست «الزامات پیاده‌سازی نظارت بانکی موثر در ایران»، این پرسش که «کدام بانک‌ها و چرا درگیر مشکل شدند و چگونه می‌توان ضعف نظارت بانک مرکزی بر آن‌ها را حل کرد؟» از منظر اقتصاد سیاسی پول و اعتبار و اقتصاد سیاسی بودجه‌ریزی به بحث گذاشته شد.
▫️در این نشست چهره‌هایی چون عباس دادجو توکلی -پژوهشگر حوزه پولی و بانکی-، تیمور رحمانی -عضو هیئت علمی دانشکده اقتصاد دانشگاه تهران-، سید علی مدنی‌زاده -عضو هیئت علمی دانشکده اقتصاد دانشگاه صنعتی شریف- و کامران ندری -عضو هیئت علمی اقتصاد دانشگاه امام صادق- به ایراد نظرات خود پرداختند.

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
