we had to put down our cat today. his name was Dub, shortened through various paths from what my dad called him when we first saw him out in the woods by our house, "Tailless Wonder", and we had him for 17 years after coaxing him back to our place by tossing food to him from afar. vet said he had to be at least 20. he had a stub tail and extra toes on all of his paws and was the most memorable cat ive ever met. there'll never be another one like him
