Плодотворный рабочий день продолжил еще одной встречей. На этот раз - с делегацией Сахалинской областной Думы.

Встреча прошла в рамках подписанного нами ранее соглашения о сотрудничестве, которое играет важную роль в укреплении законодательной базы региона.

Так, коллеги из Сахалинской областной Думы поинтересовались, какие меры поддержки участников и ветеранов СВО действуют в нашем регионе. Несомненно, вопрос по адресу, ведь Донбасс долгое время находится на передовой борьбы с врагом и имеет большой опыт в данной сфере.

В парламенте эти вопросы находятся в введении Комитета Народного Совета по поддержке участников СВО, который подробно проконсультирует наших коллег.

Также обсудили с коллегами кадровый конкурс «Донбасс. СВОи Герои». Он станет отличной возможностью для наших ребят вернуться в мирную жизнь и быть востребованным в своей специальности!

The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
