Александр Хант, режиссёр данной картины, показывает нам обычную российскую современность и рассказывает вроде бы не самую захватывающую историю, но на выходе получается отличное душевное роудстори, в котором имеются и сложные психологические портреты героев, и глубокие философские вопросы.
К сожалению, а может быть и к счастью, минкульт на такие фильмы средств не выделяет, лучше снимать гардамарины 5, поэтому данное кино полностью независимое, как и большинство картин Ханта.
